Hi everyone. I hosted a poll earlier this month that asked you what theme you thought my blog should have. It ended up being a tie between Hag/Witch/Magic and Hollywood with 3 votes each. There were only 9 votes in total (sad, I know). I've decided to go with the Hag/Witch/Magic theme. Now I would like your opinion on what you think the title of my blog should be.

The poll will run for no longer than 7 days. Once the poll is over and once I have decided on my backgrounds/templates, I will put my blog on private and will take it off of private once maintenance is finished. I'm not sure how long it'll take, but I wouldn't think more than 1 or 2 days (unless I'm wrong).

A ramble about my blog's future and other stuff

Hi, everyone! It's been a while since posted anything (besides EA and Sesert fails). I'm about to go on a rant as well as share some information about the future of this blog. Are you ready?

I haven't been making edited pictures or blogging much lately because I've lost a lot of my motivation and interest in it. I'm not in the best of health and I have internal conflicts, which both suck much energy out of me. I also have college, so that also takes up time. Because of this, I've mainly just been chatting with other simmers. I enjoy chatting with them, as they're fun to be around and it's cool to learn things about their real-life selves.

I plan on resuming blogging more regularly. I had my English final yesterday, so I'll start blogging more soon. The semester ends June 2, so I'll be completely free after that for a while. I'd also like to state that my blog will not be simply used for showcasing my edited pictures. It will be used for whatever I want to use it for. So, expect to also see me showcase my in-game creations, possibly go on more rambles, and so on.

I'd also like to make an apology. Between November of 2010 and April of 2011, I had been spamming the forums with my edited pictures, dedicating new threads to each one in General Discussion. I admit that the way I was advertising and sharing my pictures was the wrong way. What I should have done was made one thread in Creative Corner and used it as my archive and/or place for showcasing them. I also admit that I had developed somewhat of a "fame complex". I liked the fame and wanted to please my fans. I also thought it would be a creative and fun idea to see what the community wanted to see in my work, so I made numerous polls asking them what they wanted to see. It was kind of like a group collaboration, but more aimed towards what I wanted. I admit that everything that I had been doing was a bit attention whore-ish, though it wasn't completely for the fame. I did enjoy and still enjoy making creations and sharing them with the community. Why? Because it's fun to share your creations with others, just as it's fun for others to share their creations with you. So, my main point is that I was wrong in the way that I shared my pictures, I acknowledge that I was wrong, and that I resolve to share my creations in a more acceptable and proper way.

Fail from EA

Ok, so we all know that EA is doing a crappy job of moderating the forums. Something new happened. I reported a female sim on the exchange for using the nude body outfit in which you could see nipples. Later, I get an email from EA Customer Service. At first I thought it was a confirmation they received my report. But when I opened it, I found out that it thought I filed a question on their Customer Support site. The text that I used to describe what I was reporting became the title and contents of my "question". Wow, EA. Or maybe it emailed me in the wrong format? Now that I think about it, EA sends report confirmations from noreply@ea.com, not EA Customer Service. I actually LOLed at this mix-up. Ok, this is a small fail compared to what's happening on the forums, but you get the general idea.

All of the simmers' accounts were created, but there was nothing around to inspire them to make attractive sims and share them. So, EA used its power to create a user that embodies desire and beauty.



A clam shell emerged from the ocean and then opened to reveal a forums user of incomparable desire. He was CK213. Because he was born an adult, he was even more desirable. CK213 is the forums user of beauty and simmer-to-sim love. He was the fire of all of the forums users' desire. His profound desirableness inspired them to try and emulate that in their games by making attractive sims, as they knew that he was out of their league. They got inspiration to share these sims on the Exchange and forums. Since then, CK213 has hidden his identity by taking on the appearance of a normal forums user who builds houses and towns and posts about drama that goes on in his game on the forums.
